MAC Extended Play Lash ($17)
This is a glossy formula that comes in black. The great thing about this mascara is the wand. It's super narrow so it's easy to give each lash attention. It's super convenient for applying mascara on the bottom lashes without getting it all over your skin. A must try for those who like mascara on both the upper and lower lashes.
L'Oreal Voluminous ($7 at Walmart)
A favorite among makeup artists. It's been around for a very long time and the formula seems to be spot on. It's known for lengthening the lashes and has a slight clump effect for volume that doesn't flake. If you're not used to a bit of clump just comb it through with a lash comb or cleaned mascara wand.
Covergirl Lash Blast ($8.99 at Rexal)
Another favorite among makeup artists. The patent pending wand is extra wide so all lashes get coated with lots of product. The formula is also hypoallergenic.
Benefit They're Real ($29 at Sephora)
If you have the budget to stray aware from a drugstore then you'll love Benefit They're Real mascara. The formula works for lengthening and defining without clumping because of the fine brush bristles. It also has extra bristles on the tip which works great for extra extension on your outer corner lashes or making it easy to reach your lower lashes as you run the wand vertically across.
Dior Iconic Overcurl ($39.50 at Holt Renfrew)
This one is a little pricey and indulgent but if you are looking for a mascara with a thiner consistency that doesn't clump but builds up easily with layers then this mascara is for you! The curved wand is also great for forcing a curl in your lashes as you apply.
